So this weekend I am babysitting for a friend. But her daughter is 10 going on 20… so it’s very different from when I have my niece and nephews.
We have had a good time so far. Doing lots of crafts, some baking, my youngest sister came over and they’re hanging out.
I definitely feel like I need to be “cool” enough to entertain her, but here’s the deal. I have stuff to do and I’m pretty boring. She has been a great sport. She recommended I fry some bacon to go in our burritos for lunch, so I did and it was delicious. For dinner I have a pizza for us. I also got lots of “kid” friendly but not completely unhealthy snacks, so I think this is at least better than going to the boring work dinner with her parents.
