Who actually reads the instructions when it comes to tasks like staining the deck? Not me… that’s for sure.

So when I told my friend that I stained the deck when it was almost 100 degrees outside and she said, “Isn’t that going to turn into maple syrup and never dry out?” I said, “What?”

Guess what folks… It’s been a few days and the deck does indeed look like I coated it with maple syrup.

Lesson learned? Perhaps… I’m waiting for someone to notice. The jury still is out on this one folks…
