Ok y’all… I was dragging my feet for a while, but after a couple years of hiatus I am teaching Sunday School again. Thankfully there are enough members at the congregation I am a part of that it won’t be forever, but for the summer I am teaching 5 year olds.

This means I get to have my nephew in class, which will be fun. It also means I will miss out on the amazing class the adults are doing over Psalm, but that’s ok… I can listen later to the recordings.

I feel like because I work with kids during the week I don’t necessarily want to do that on the weekends too, but it’s just for an hour on Sundays.

It will be good to get involved and meet more people this way. And it’s a simple way to dip my toe into serving without being too much in the spotlight. (There are only two five year olds regularly in class.)

I was humbled when a friend was like, “They really need help” and I was like, “Naw…” and the another friend was like, “But seriously they really need help” and I was like, “…. naw….” and then I listened to sermon that was like, “How are you serving?” And I was like… “FINE!”
