Childhood Comforts

As a kid one of the most comforting memories I have is being carried to bed. I loved to “fall asleep” in the car and get carried to bed. If I stayed asleep, or kept my eyes closed, I could get a free ride up the stairs.

I was thinking recently, as I dozed, man I miss that. If only we knew the magic of the moments when we were in them. And I’m sure in 20 years I will think the same thing about these moments I’m living right now.

How do you practice gratitude for these day to day moments?
