I do not think these makeup brands or products are particularly clean, BUT these two items have made a big difference in my makeup game lately. (Am I 30+ and still learning how to do makeup? Yes… Yes I am…)
The first item is the poreless face primer from ELF. It’s in a pink bottle with a clear lid. This stuff helps SO MUCH. I use moisturizer, wait ten minutes, use primer, wait 5-10 minutes and then add my foundation.
A tip I learned from an influencer on youtube was using concealer instead of foundation. She claims that foundation is too thick and becomes cakey and since I have started doing this I have found my makeup looks significantly better.
Product number two is this zero sebum finishing powder from etude house, a Korean makeup brand. I use this on the problem areas where I usually see my pores being emphasized and lots of makeup separation, so my nose and chin. It leaves my face feeling SO SMOOTH! Buttery soft.
Again, I don’t think these products are particularly clean, but they do the trick and they are affordable. If you have better products please, let me know! Let’s get better at makeup together.
