I am torn. I want to promote small businesses and help things I love succeed, but I also want privacy and to keep the things I love for myself and my friends.
I don’t usually have enough influence over things to matter, but… the other day… I was wearing my Zeb’s Coffeehouse t-shirt and someone asked me about it.
I told them, “Oh! It’s a great coffee shop in Eudora!” Then I thought… “Oh no… what if so many people start going that I no longer have a place to sit?!”
Silly. Yes. Will they go? Likely not. BUT… I am a selfish person and low key panicked.
Is it because I’m an enneagram 4? Is it because I’m antisocial? Am I a little bit insane? Delusional? Probably all of the above.
