Tea

I have never been a hot tea person.

I have changed.

I have been following Dr. Mindy Pelz and am obsessed with “Fast Like a Girl” atm. BUT… she recommended a tea and I have started drinking it each night.

She recommends: Kava Tea, Yerba Mate, Dandelion tea

I have all three.

Kava is for blood pressure, Yerba Mate is for it’s GLP-1 boosting abilities and Dandelion is for liver detoxification.

I also added ginger/citron honey tea from costco because I love all things Korean and it makes the dandelion tea bearable to drink.

I usually brew 2-3 cups of tea per night and in the ones that are more difficult (dandelion) to get down, I add the honey citron mix. It takes away the bitter without stopping the benefits to the liver.

This has become my new nighttime routine. I sip tea in front of the fire. BUT… it’s getting hot outside, so not only will hot tea no longer be appealing, but I will no longer be able to enjoy the fires at night.

I might try it as an iced tea for the spring/summer.

Regardless, my mind has been changed about tea and it feels good.
