The latest Zhao Lusi drama that I’ve seen is called Pearl Girl. (Or the story of the pearl girl?)
Essentially Lusi plays a beautiful woman who is a pearl diver for a corrupt noble family. She escapes the island and has several adventures with the man who becomes her love interest. She is abandoned by her friends, family, love, more friends, and ends up prevailing as a successful business woman.
It has a bittersweet ending, and the lead actor (whose name I don’t know) is my favorite from another Zhao Lusi drama where they play the second leading couple. The longest ballad I think it’s called.
Anyway, it’s on youtube. Nothing will ever top Love Like the Galaxy, but it’s still a decent show.
