I have been keeping a note in my phone of beautiful sights that I see every day. It’s part of my ‘obnoxiously optimistic’ lifestyle that I adopted back in October.
- Baby gurgles in church
- It’s the best. I love seeing and hearing kiddos.
- Wheat engraved pews
- The details that used to be incorporated into every detail of a church pew or a cathedral ceiling is unreal. Why don’t we do this anymore?
- Toddlers talking in church
- The little boy who yelled, “YAY!” after the last song on Sunday is hilarious. He was ready for LUNCH
- Sneakers and suits
- The combo of comfort and fashion made me laugh. Well done sir.
- Babies who suck their thumbs.
- Never grow up. Never stop.
- When kids draw pictures for you as a token of their love.
- My nephews keep my fridge full of their art and it makes me so happy.
- Seeing teenagers be nice to kids.
- There is something so wholesome about older boys who go out of their way to acknowledge the little kids around them. Teaching them manners and kind habits. I love this.
- Old couples who hold hands.
- I don’t know if they’re being affectionate or trying to maintain their balance, but I like to thing it’s the first thing.
- Wild birds in the snow.
- Nothing is more vibrant than a male cardinal or a blue jay in the snow.
- Animal footprints
- My backyard is full of wild bird foot prints, rabbit footprints, and squirrel prints on top of the snow.
What beautiful things have you seen this month?
