I used to hate cows. Now I love cows. Cows. Are. The best.
They are delicious. They are pretty chill. They are beautiful. They are trainable. Cows are one of the best animals.
As I was driving from Stephenville, Texas to my home in NE Kansas I had a realization.
There are parts of the country that do not have rolling hills of ranches, farms, and cows. It is not a common sight for there to be hundreds of acres, miles of fence, and fields full of cows. Long horns, short horns, no horns… along with guardian animals like alpacas, llamas, donkeys…
It makes me sad. I wish this is someone everyone could see and appreciate all the time. There are beautiful sights in this world. Majestic mountains, a tumultuous sea, vast oceans, wide lakes… big cities and grand structures. In my opinion none of them hold a candle to the beauty that is farm land full of animals.
