A Day In the Life: Summer Nanny

9:30- arrival. The baby is asleep and the boys are playing legos.

10:30- baby wakes up

11:00- made hamburger casserole for lunch, fed the varmints

11:30- enforce quiet time for the boys to read bc I need to deal with my own overstimulation without the boys using the tv

12:30- quiet time is over, attempt to get the baby to sleep again

1:00- she won’t see without being held, so my mom comes over to rock the baby so I can take the boys swimming.

1:30- swimming

3:00- mom says the baby isn’t settling so we hurry home

3:30- finally get the baby to sleep while the boys play bingo with my youngest sister

4:30- hunt for my oldest nephew who is hiding bc he’s mad

5:00- mom comes back over to watch the baby while we go to my middle nephew’s last tball game (it was a heat index of over 100°)

5:15- set baby up with a bath in the sink (under close supervision) to ease the almost but not quite bedtime crankiness.

5:30- tball

It was hotter-n-blazes out here, but it was fun to see the kids play ball.
