One night, my brother was explaining the rules of dungeons and dragons to me. It didn’t make a lot of sense and still doesn’t, but I like fantasy and a good story.
He gave me a scenario where my character was in a cottage, and it was attacked by goblins.
Goblins: Give us your gold or we’ll kill ya.
Me: Do it.
Goblins: … what?
Me: Do. It.
Goblins: Why?
Me: What am I living for? Im a lonely spinster alone in the forest. Just put me out of my misery.
Goblins: Well now we feel bad.
Me: …
Goblins: Should we just let her join us?
Me: Really?
Goblins: Yeah. It would be wrong to kill somebody so sad.
Me: Thanks, gang.
The End.
The lesson here. To win D and D don’t fight back.
