There is a content creator whom I adore. His name is Read Choi. I believe he’s Korean and Japanese and he makes a lot of Christian themed content. It doesn’t matter what his ethnicity is… I just find him to be unbelievably handsome in addition to him being a Christian content creator.
Anyway, he just did a bit about how we are called by God to go out into the world and talk to people about God. The excuse the man gives Jesus in this bit is, “I’m in introvert.” And the response is, “That is just your cross to bear.”
Uh……..
What?
You mean being in introvert isn’t a get out of socializing free card? I don’t get to wield it like a super power and avoid crowds 100% of the time?
I feel personally attacked. I am the victim of a hate crime. This is SO not cool.
The sketch was hysterical. I also felt called out. Which is good. That’s what we’re supposed to do. We’re also called to bear one another’s burdens, so I can rely on friends and other Christians for help in this area. But I really REALLY hate the idea that I have to do something about it.
Idk what Paul’s thorn in the flesh was, but I guess mine is introversion?
