I used to follow all the celebrity things. For the last decade or so Ive given it up. I still have my favorites, but these celebrity videos trending on my social media are getting old.
Trends Ive shied away from:
The Kardashians, Taylor Swift after she jumped genres, anything sports, Timothee Chalomet(?), British Royal ANYthing, 99% of things related to award shows, Olivia Rodrigo, Justin Bieber and his wife, the remake or reboot of all the tv shows, Ed Sheeran
Trends Ive been semi interested in:
Free Britney, Team Selena, The Jonas Brothers (I love Kevin. Nick and Joe are the wooooooorst), Chris Pratt, Pedro Pascal, the return of Lindsay Lohan, Ricky Gervais mocking all of Hollywood for their relationship with Epstein, why women date Pete Davidson,
Trends I support 1000%:
Kpop, JVKE, Jennifer Garner bc she seems classy, Cillian Murphy, Connor Price songs, Tophouse, Sabrina Carpenter songs
These are mostly things I’m exposed to on social media, or listening to music in my sister’s car. Thankfully the algorithm is showing me less and less bc you can now hit “not interested” when IG shows you random stuff. Or I hear about trends way late so by the time I know everyone else had moved on.
