Misfits Market is a new grocery service that I’ve been trying out. (New to me anyway.) If you follow this link and try it I think you’ll get a % off.
Misfits has a huge supply of organic produce which is why I like it. It’s affordable and you can skip orders. So I’ve ordered a box from them every three-ish weeks or so. You have to spend a minimum of $50 I think. They give you automated orders that you have to check on the app and then skip if you’re not interested that week. They make you a cart based on your preferences and former purchases, but you can skip as many times as you want. I generally check my list on Sunday nights and see what I need.
For example, they have the eggs I buy when my chickens aren’t laying well. (Like right now because it’s winter.) They are $2-3 cheaper than when I buy them at Target or Wal*mart. BUT they are tiny. Because they are mistfits.
Misfits sells you perfectly find products, but they’re the scarred lemons or the tiny eggs or the overstock of something else.
There is a fee for cold products if you don’t spend a certain amount, but I think it’s like… $3.
This last time I got… (all organic)
- pears
- apples
- lemons
- avocados
- eggs
- cheese
- chips
- broccoli
- salad mix
- carrots
- hamburger buns
and I think a couple other things. That’s just what I remember off the top of my head.
It’s not something I could afford to do every week, but considering the increased prices at the store I’m happy to buy ugly produce, especially when it’s organic.
**I’m not a paid misfits affiliate, but I did share a promotional link in case anyone wants to give it a shot.**
