Sometimes I get really frustrated because all the things I try to do become oversaturated before I succeed at them. I’m talking business-wise. I’m trying to break into affiliate marketing, but now all my social media recommendations are about affiliate marketing. Is that because of the algorithm, or is it over done? I wanted to be an attorney only to be told that attorneys are a dime a dozen and most of them barely make enough to pay off their student debt. I go to college right before people start finding out what a waste of time and money college is. I get into ESL teaching right before the entire industry is kicked out of China. I start an etsy store around the same time that people start buying cheap goods from China and selling them on etsy, making the platform no better than Wal*mart.
How do people find “The thing” that they can make a career at? Funnily enough, I still do all the things that I just mentioned (minus the attorney thing) and I like them… I just don’t know how to make my businesses stand out as unique. How to draw attention and get clients without a marketing budget.
If I find the answer I’ll share it. Until then, do y’all have any clues?
To be honest I should have gone to trade school to be an electrician or something. Too bad I barely passed my math and science courses.
