Inconsequential Things That I Take Stupid Pride In

Do you ever just find yourself extremely proud of non-accomplishments?

I do. Maybe it’s my desire to achieve greatness so I’m grasping at straws, but there are some things that I am crazy stupid proud of that absolutely DO not matter.

  1. Reading twilight before it was popular. Hello, I grew up with the Labyrinth. I liked the morally gray characters from the beginning. Twilight was just one of many young adult vampire novels I read that year. But I read them first. Before they made it big. I read it in high school. Sitting in choir. Hiding the book behind my music folder.
  2. Never having watched Titanic. I hate everything about it. I’m proud to say I’ve never seen it and I never will.
  3. Not getting a smart phone till after college. I am now addicted like the rest of you, but I was 23 before I got sucked in. I carried around a red canon camera for memories until 2013 folks… Now my phone is 50% camera, 25% streaming videos, and 25% digital books.
  4. Never watched the Walking Dead. Well… I started it. Got five minutes in and hated it. Never turned it back on. So I guess I never completed an episode.
  5. As a lover of K dramas I never got into Squid Games or any of the super dark shows.

Are these great feats? Not necessarily. But I’ll stand by them!
