Instagram Ads I’ve Fallen For part 1

I have a cabinet full of remedies or products that I’ve bought after seeing countless IG ads. Here are my humble thoughts.

Averraglow: It’s very expensive, and it seems to work at first. I used it for a few months. I broke out severely after the first use and was told it was just the skin detoxing. Unfortunately, it never completely healed my skin. And when I quit using it I broke out worse than ever.

Liquid Oxygen: I have this and still use it once a week or so. I can’t tell if it makes a huge difference, but it doesn’t seem to be hurting so I don’t want to waste it. It’s very refreshing, almost minty feeling. It also burns if you have any broken skin. So if you pick or pop zits it’ll burn. Be careful!

Flo vitamins: I bought these because they promised clear skin, a regular cycle and no more cramps. Well… they taste horrible. They have a pill and a gummy. I would recommend the pill if you try it. The gummies are kind of chalky and hard to get down. I think the ingredients are beneficial, it’s just hard to swallow.

Spoiled Child Liquid Collagen: The product itself is great, the flavor is horrible. I have to take it like a shot, I can’t make a big glass of mango water like they do in the commercials. I will use up what I have, but I don’t think I’ll buy it again. If I’m going to take collagen I’d rather make gummies or get the flavorless powder that I can hide in drinks and food.

Honey Love camisoles: I love these. They aren’t comfortable to wear in summer because layers and sweat, but in the winter they’re my go-to.

Halara: Pants, dresses, leggings. I love Halara. The jeans are generally too short for me. But the leggings have been wonderful! And the wide leg pants have worked great. When you make a return they don’t usually accept the item, but offer a refund anyway. They ask you to share it with someone else or donate it. Unfortunately their sports bras don’t work for me. (They don’t offer enough coverage.) But they’re cute!

Mary Ruth’s Products: I love the nighttime minerals and the daytime multivitamin. I always go for the liquid products that I can take as shots instead of the gummies. I’m not a fan of health gummies of any kind. They’re too chalky or they’re too thick and get stuck in your teeth. (In my experience.)

I’m sure I’ll think of more later, but that’s what I thought about this week. IG ads are effective, so if you’re running a small business I’d say investing in IG or Facebook ads is a good investment.
